Hi, I’m Mateusz Fejcher, a passionate embedded systems engineer with the ambition to get better every day.

I build applications and entire systems with Qt, and craft custom embedded Linux distributions with Yocto for real-world, real-time embedded projects - from bring-up on target hardware to the UI running on top of it.

I’m a certified Qt developer, mostly working in QML with some experience in Widgets, and I also have some experience with LVGL.

What this blog is

This is my journal of the projects I take on - some small, some bigger. Each post documents something I built: the problem I was solving, the approach I took, what went wrong along the way, and the result. No polish, just the actual work - Qt widgets and QML, Yocto layers and recipes, cross-compilation headaches, board bring-up, and everything in between.

More than a portfolio, it’s a record of the journey - proof that I deliver, and a way to track how I’m growing as an engineer, one project at a time.
